Calumet Region Striders

The Calumet Region Striders is a 501(c)3 nonprofit chapter of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) founded in 1978. We are committed to supporting our local running community by promoting and encouraging health and physical fitness through recreational running and walking.

We are Northwest Indiana’s running club, providing accessible opportunities for all runners and walkers to train, race, learn, be social, and volunteer.

Chicago Booth RBS Club

The Chicago Booth Run Bike Swim Club was created to connect students who are interested in exploring Chicago through running, cycling and swimming. The club aims to help students form lifelong relationships through athletic endeavors. The Run Bike Swim Club will be open to students of all ability levels and goals. We hope to provide an alternative social outlet and a healthier lifestyle at Booth. By engaging in activities that promote wellness and fitness, the club seeks to provide a way for its members to find balance and discover new ways to overcome challenges we might face in life and work. We believe a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. All students are welcome regardless of their prior athletic experience or their future athletic goals.

DWRunning

DWRunning is a Chicago-based competitive racing team and private coaching service. DWRunning operates and competes as a team, with three weekly team meet-ups, but customizes training plans to the exact needs schedule, fitness level, and goals of each athlete to help them get the most out of themselves each day. DWRunning is one of the premier racing teams in Chicago both in the development of elite runners and the consistent improvement of athletes of all levels.

Family Style RC

Family Style RC brings visibility, community, and representation to Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) Athletes and Our Family of Supporters! Everyone, every level, and every pace is welcome! We run all over Chicago. We meet at least once a month for a Community Run usually starting at an AANHPI local business. We also host strength workouts, social events, and collaborate with other run clubs as well. Family Style is so much more than a “Run Club,” RC also stands for all the love and support in the Run Community, we are Rooted in Community, with Richness in Cultures, and it all started Right here in Chicago.

Gold Coast Run Club

Gold Coast Run Club is a neighborhood run club that welcomes everybody who loves running on the lakefront. We are building a community of runners who enjoy running with others and supporting one another even outside of running. We strive to be inclusive and create a welcoming environment for all! We also look for opportunities to give back to the community by volunteering and sharing information about events happening in the Chicago running community.

Lakeview Run Club

Welcome to all of our new members! We are so glad you are here. Lakeview Run Club (or LVRC) is a place to get outside, meet new people, and have a great time! Our club meets every Tuesday night at 6:30 pm at the playground of Nettlehorst Elementary (3252 N Broadway).

We break out into groups that run anywhere up to 5 miles and anywhere from a 7-minute mile pace to a 13-minute mile pace, as well as a walking group.You’re welcome to come for just the run or stay for some post-run drinks/food/socializing at Roscos. Food and beer discounts for us runners!

We also offer a Saturday run, at 10:00 am, meeting at the intersection of Belmont Ave and Lake Shore Drive, by the Belmont Underpass. This group typically grabs brunch in the Lakeview area afterwards!

All are welcome, always! Feel free to reach out to our admins with any questions. We can’t wait to run with you!

Midway Mile Chasers

We are a group of people who enjoy getting out to run. We have been running in the Chicago Midway area since 2013.

OUR Mission Statement: Midway Mile Chasers primary objective is to create a running community for runners of all fitness, interest levels in a welcoming and positive environment. It strives to acquaint and educate new runners to the world of running and provides seasoned runners opportunities to set and achieve new goals.

This group is filled with supportive and motivating people. We share the same passion for running, and together we are working to live a happy healthier lifestyle. No one is ever left behind. All levels are always welcome.

Northlake Running Group

The Northlake Running Group has been running in person since 2021 in Northlake, IL. Which is known as the city of friendly people. We are free running group and are open to all running levels. We have weekly group runs, provide race discounts, group outings, half marathon training and full marathon training. Our goal is to show the masses that running can help the mind, body and spirit.

November Project

We are a free fitness group with scalable workouts making fitness more accessible to the Chicago community! We are lowering intimidation of fitness with fun, so how do we do that? We use body weight movements and running (or skipping or walking) and are basically a recess group on Wednesday and Friday mornings! See ya at 6:06AM!

UChicago Road Runners

The University of Chicago Road Runners fosters our university running community. We provide a positive atmosphere for runners to train together to encourage the use of running as a social outlet, healthy form of stress-relief, and tool for personal growth.

We host runs four times a week, with several pace groups, as well as various social mixers and speaker events during the school year. Road Runners also serves as a base for students to connect and form additional training groups and allows experienced runners to offer newcomers advice on how to train, choose running equipment, become certified pacers, and contact charities about sponsorships.

The club also offers opportunities for members to compete in road races.

The Venados have been running out of the Chicago Pilsen neighborhood since the 1980’s. Decades later, Venados continue to welcome runners of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy the sport of running.
