After you cross the Finish Line, invite your friends and family to celebrate your accomplishment at our Spring Market Finish Festival located within Maggie Daley Park up the hill from the Finish Line and open to the general public. The Spring Market includes:
*No dogs are allowed in Maggie Daley Park. Anyone that brings their dog into the park will be asked to remove their K-9 friend by park security.
Changing it up form the traditional breakfast food options. All registered race participants can choose between the scrumptious options below:
Huevos a la Mexicana – Consists of roughly chopped tomatoes, green chili peppers, and onions slightly fried on a hot skilled/flat top. Eggs are added and stirred until set. We’ll be serving this with fresh salsa & fresh fruit we will be bringing with us, cut. (Vegetarian, served hot, buffet style)
Turkey Sweet Potato Chili – Slow cooked house chili, made with fresh sweet potatoes, black beans, onions, garlic, celery,, and a hint of chipotle. Toppings include cheddar cheese, fresh scallions & the option of sour cream.
Sponsored by the Life Time Chicago Half Marathon presented by HOKA, participants and spectators alike can build their own little tribute to Spring. At this complimentary station, visitors will be given a flower pot, then they can select from a variety of blooming plugs, add soil and water, then walk away with their own living garden. No green thumb necessary!
Participants 21 years and older can enjoy a complimentary and refreshing beer at the Spring Half Beer Garden courtesy of our friends at Revolution Brewing. Additional beers will be available by making a cash donation to the TEAM TO END AIDS bartenders.
