Travel Guide

Race Location

Butler Field
235 S Columbus Dr, Chicago, IL 60601

The race venue is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. Participants and spectators are encouraged to plan their travel and race day logistics ahead of time so you can arrive on race day without any stress or concerns.

Transportation Options

Please review the transportation options below. Don’t forget about road closures as well. This could alter your route and mode of transportation.

Rideshare Services

One of the most convenient ways to get around these days is by the use of ride sharing apps such as Uber or Lyft. By now, most of us have either one or both installed on our phones. If not, you can easily upload these apps by visiting the App Store for iPhone or Play Store for Android.

It is highly recommended to plan ahead of time by reserving a ride from one of these apps a day or more in advance. This will keep the ride cost down and ensure that you have a ride reserved for you already.

Public Transit

Several Chicago Transit Authority rail and bus lines provide service to the downtown area. Research all bus and train schedules at www.transitchicago.com.

Taxi

The classical way of getting around any urban area and still widely used today. Taxis are still in abundance throughout the city of Chicago. However, you’ll want to plan ahead of time and reserve a ride from any of the taxi service companies operating in the city before race day.

Metra

The Metra Electric (ME) line flows right into Millenium Park, which is located across the street from the finish fest and start corrals. Click the link below for a complete schedule of travel for race day.
